Everything else, in plain terms

How to pay

Direct debit — preferred, no additional fees. Full payment due on acceptance.

Credit card — processing fees apply and are paid by the client.

Interest-free — GEM Visa and Q Card accepted. Terms negotiated directly with the provider.

Pricing

All prices exclude GST, which is added at checkout for GST-registered businesses.

Item prices only — delivery is additional.

Quotes are valid 15 days. Prices may need reconfirming if a quote has expired, and changes to quantities can change the price.

Payment is required before purchase orders are released to suppliers. That is what lets us confirm stock and hold your quoted pricing.

How delivery works

Direct from supplier — to a commercial address, or to a residential address via a transport subcontractor.

Depot collection — available in some areas, handling charges apply.

Allow up to 5–7 working days from payment. Delivery is NZ-wide.

What to expect

Delivery costs are additional to item prices, not included in unit pricing.

Delivery is to ground floor only. No unpacking or placement is included — kerbside or ground floor unless otherwise arranged.

We deliver New Zealand wide, including rural addresses. The freight cost is confirmed on your quote.

Inspect deliveries before signing and report any damage within 24 hours. See Warranties & support for the full process.

Lead times

All products are subject to supplier availability. Lead times in a quote are based on supplier information at the time of quoting.

They stay indicative until payment is received and orders are confirmed. Once paid, we confirm availability and update lead times if needed.

Delays

Trade Supply accepts no responsibility for delays from unforeseen supplier or shipping issues — freight delays and supplier stock problems sit outside our control.

If a delay happens you will be told, and we will work to find a solution.

Cancelling

Before payment — contact us immediately. No fees apply at this stage.

After the order is placed — products cannot be cancelled once dispatched, except where goods are faulty or as required by law.

Cancelling received products may incur a 15–20% restocking fee, with freight and site visit costs at the purchaser expense.

Returns

Products can only be returned if unused, in original condition, with packaging unopened, and within a reasonable timeframe.

A 15–20% restocking fee applies, plus return freight at the purchaser expense.

Cannot be returned: custom-made items, commercial-grade products ordered to specification, imported-to-order and special-order items.

Review the supplier links in your quote carefully before accepting — returns are costly, and confirming details up front avoids them.

Delivery acceptance & registration

Before signing, check the box for visible damage. If you see damage, open and confirm the items are acceptable — if they are damaged, reject the delivery and do not sign.

Concealed damage: open and inspect fully within 24 hours. Report with your order reference, photos of the items and boxes, serial numbers, delivery date and carrier details.

Before the items are fitted, write serial numbers into the manufacturer booklet and register them on the manufacturer website.

Warranty claims & our support

All products carry the manufacturer warranty; terms vary by brand. Contact the manufacturer directly — they will run diagnostics and arrange a certified repair agent if needed.

If the item is not faulty or is not covered, the service agent fee is payable by you. That is why the manufacturer troubleshooting comes first.

Trade Supply stays your first point of contact — guidance on claims, pointing you to the right service agent, technical questions and future ordering.

Report damage within 24 hours so we can notify the supplier and file a carrier claim. Missing that window may void a damage claim. Goods must go back in their original boxes.

Errors & omissions (E&OE)

Errors in pricing, product names, images or descriptions may occasionally occur. If one does, we will contact you and agree an appropriate change to the quote or order.

If no alternative can be agreed, we may cancel and refund any amount already paid. It protects both sides.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trade Supply is not liable for indirect, consequential or economic loss, including loss of profit, downtime or business interruption.

Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the goods in question.
